Resort Television Network, founded in 2000 by Don McQuaid as Whistler Resort TV, is a resort information channel designed to deliver real-time weather and event information to Whistler visitors along side advertising-centred programming about local businesses. In 2002 Resort Television Network (RTN) started a rapid expansion into several resorts across Canada and now has stations in Banff, Canmore, Panorama, Fernie, Horseshoe Valley, Beaver Creek, Talisman and Tremblant. RTN currently boasts over 8 million viewers nation-wide. Future expansion into urban centres and eventually the US is on our near horizon.

RTN is driven by a mulit-media internet based software that has been custom-developed for television and closed circuit broadcast.
